Frequently asked questions

General

Who is Binary Peak?

Binary Peak is a developer-led software development business based in Lebanon. We build websites, web applications, custom software and mobile apps for individuals, startups and businesses in Lebanon and internationally.

What services does Binary Peak offer?

Website development, custom web applications (CRMs, dashboards, portals, booking systems), custom software (desktop applications, internal tools, integrations), mobile app development for Android and iOS, and ongoing maintenance and technical support.

Do you work with clients outside Lebanon?

Yes. We work with local and international clients. Projects are run remotely with regular written updates, and we are happy to schedule calls in your time zone.

How does a project start?

With a conversation. You tell us what you want to build or fix, we ask a few focused questions, and then we send a written scope, timeline and cost before any work begins.

How much does a website, web app or mobile app cost?

It depends on what you need, so we do not publish one-size-fits-all prices. The contact form has optional budget ranges, and after a short discovery conversation we give you a clear written quote.

Which technologies do you use?

Our preferred stack is PHP with Laravel and Filament for backends and admin panels, Vue.js with Tailwind CSS for interfaces, C# and .NET for desktop and operational software, and Flutter for mobile apps, with MySQL, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server for data. We choose tools per project rather than by habit.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. We offer maintenance, security updates, performance improvements, new features and technical support so your product keeps pace with your business.

Website Development

What kinds of websites do you build?

Corporate and business websites, landing pages, portfolios and content-managed sites, all built to be fast, mobile-friendly and search-friendly. If you need something more custom than a standard site, we can build that too.

Will I be able to edit the website myself?

Yes. Where it makes sense we add an admin panel so you can update text, images and pages without writing code, and we show you how to use it at handover.

Is the website built for SEO?

Every site is built with SEO fundamentals in place: clean semantic structure, fast loading, mobile layouts, editable page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and structured data. We do not promise rankings, because nobody honestly can, but we make sure nothing technical holds you back.

How long does a website take and what does it cost?

It depends on the number of pages and features. After a short discovery conversation we give you a written scope, timeline and cost before any work starts.

Custom Web Applications

When does a business need a custom web application?

Usually when spreadsheets, shared folders or several disconnected tools start causing errors or wasted time. A custom application puts your process in one place, shaped around how your team actually works.

Can you build a CRM or an internal management system?

Yes. CRMs, ERP-style systems, internal dashboards, booking and scheduling tools, and customer or employee portals are all typical projects.

How is user access and data security handled?

We build role-based access so each person sees only what they should, validate all input, and follow established security practices for authentication and data handling.

Can you connect it to the tools we already use?

Often yes. We can integrate through APIs with accounting, messaging, payment and other systems, depending on what those tools offer.

Custom Software Development

What is custom software development?

It means software designed and built specifically for your business and your workflow, instead of adapting your workflow to a generic product.

Do you build desktop applications and operational systems?

Yes. Desktop applications, internal company tools, manufacturing and operational systems, and database-driven applications are all part of what we build.

Can you modernise or replace an old system?

Yes. We can replace fragile spreadsheet processes or modernise ageing systems, usually in stages so your operations keep running during the change.

Who owns the software when it is finished?

You do. We build with mainstream tools and clear documentation so the solution can be maintained and extended by us or by anyone else.

Mobile Application Development

Do you build both Android and iOS apps?

Yes. Where it makes sense we use cross-platform tooling so one codebase serves both Android and iOS, which keeps cost and maintenance down.

Can the app connect to our website or system?

Yes. Apps are typically connected to a secure backend, so data stays in sync between your mobile app and your web platform.

Do you help publish the app to the app stores?

We prepare the app for release and guide you through publishing it on the stores. The store accounts themselves stay in your name.

Can we start with a small first version?

Yes, and we often recommend it. A focused first release lets you test the idea with real users before investing in more features.

Maintenance & Technical Support

Can you take over a website or app someone else built?

Often yes. We start with a review of the code and hosting, tell you honestly what shape it is in, and then agree on what to fix, improve or leave alone.

What does website maintenance include?

Updates, security patches, performance improvements, backups checks, small fixes and technical support, depending on what your site needs.

Can you make a slow website faster?

Usually. We look at images, code, hosting and caching to find the biggest wins first, and measure the difference.

Do you add new features to existing systems?

Yes. New features, integrations and improvements to existing websites and applications are a regular part of our work.
